Kyle Meng is an Assistant Professor at the Bren School of Environmental Management and the Department of Economics at the University of California, Santa Barbara. He is a Faculty Research Fellow at the National Bureau of Economic Research. Professor Meng’s research is primarily in environmental and resource economics, with a focus on advancing our understanding of climate change impacts and policies. An economist with training in engineering and atmospheric physics, Meng uses past evidence to improve forecasts of a future under anthropogenic climate change.
Meng received his Ph.D. in Sustainable Development from Columbia University and his B.S.E. in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Princeton University.
